In my case it's just the licking of anus which repulses me, and rimming occurs in 'straight' sex, 'gay' sex, 'Bi' sex. I do know that rimming goes on in both the straight and gay worlds of sex, although I have also gauged that it is slightly more 'niche' than vanilla to both parties. One seems a passive state whereas the other seems so much more emotively 'active', like zeros and ones kind of thing. The reason I wonder that is because when it comes to sexual acts/preferences that don't 'float my boat' (as a gay man), ie which largely involves watching straight couples at it, I tend to be merely 'indifferent' to what isn't my thing as opposed to 'revulsed' by it. If there is an acceptability hierarchy of sexual acts, I wonder what the balance of opinion would be as to whether rimming should find itself outside the parameter of 'normal'.
